The Van Chevrolet business has 83-year-old roots. When the primary mode of transportation shifted from horses and horse drawn carriage to automobiles in the early 1900s, a local blacksmith became adept at repairing automobiles. In 1926, he opened this Carrollton Chevrolet dealership. The original store was on the old town square. This is the same family owned and operated dealership today as it was back in the early days. Business is part of a family's obligation to provide to the community. We see to it our customers are treated the same as a guest would be in our own home.

Van Chevrolet has been an important part of Carrollton's development, community and history and the entire dealership team is committed to ensuring they remain a great part of its future.

The store's body shop has also become known for pioneering the use of "green" painting technology in North Texas. Its aftermarket accessories and equipment shop is the largest one of its kind in the area.

The dealership has a long standing tradition of giving back to the community.  Recent examples include; sponsoring Big Hearts for Families, in which a car was given away to a single mother. The sponsorship of a robotic competition for CFBISD and Coppell Elementary School PTA programs. The Frisco Soccer Association and sponsorship of the Texas Rattlers and sponsoring The Make a Wish Foundation are all part of the great things we do here at Van Chevrolet.
